A full-bodied chocolate colored beer, with
a rich, malty texture. A dark and rich beer
resembling a light stout, made from malt browned
with a caramel, nut or toffee flavor. Light
brown to dark brown in color, moderate off-white
to light tan head with good retention. Medium-light
to medium body. The hop bitterness range is
medium low but well balanced. Many are just
easy drinking session porters as well.
